The John E. Sexton Bridge

The suspended bridge over NYU Shanghai’s west building main gate is symbolic of the University’s mission to build bridges between nations and individuals. The bridge provides a common space for leisure, communication, and interaction among the community members.

It is the perfect gathering place to bring together people from all over the NYU Shanghai community. Reading Hall in the northwest corner is designed as a cozy study space, and serves as an aesthetic space for small-scale events and book talks.
