Betania (she/her) is a sophomore at the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, majoring in Media, Culture, and Communication and Global Public Health. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and the daughter of Ethiopian parents, Betania has a deep appreciation for all reminders of the southern diaspora, from sweet tea to injera. She works with the Strategic Student Communications office as a Student Experience Design Fellow, but when off campus, you can find her cafe-hopping in the Lower East Side, photographing her friends, or visiting galleries in Chelsea.
