Jordan Williams

Jordan Williams is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. His Bachelor's degree from the Missouri School of Journalism equipped him with a tangible and impressive skill set in strategic communication and marketing, affording him the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of campus partners such as the Department of Student Life and the University of Missouri Film Crew. Jordan completed his Master's degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Leadership in May 2016 from the University of Missouri. Along the way, he presented at numerous higher education conferences such as the NASPA Annual Conference and the ACPA Annual Convention. As a graduate assistant, he helped restructure the Mizzou Black Men's Initiative, a program dedicated to aiding in the transition of Black males from high school into the collegiate environment. The program went on to win a variety of local and national higher education awards, as well as being published in Applying Student Development Theory Holistically in 2018. In the summer of 2016, Jordan moved to New York City and particpated in the highly competitive Multicultural Advertising Internship Program as an integrated producer for experiential advertising agency, Momentum Worldwide. Since then, he worked at Columbia University for two years as the Communications Officer for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid before transitioning to New York University in 2018 as the Assistant Director of Digital Communications.
