Shuttle Stop to Jingyao Residence Hall

Resource Center

The Resource Center (RC) acts as the hub of the NYU Shanghai residential community. Students are welcome to visit the RC on the 1st floor of Tower 5 at Jingyao Residence Hall if they have any questions about NYU Shanghai or about staying at the residence hall. At the RC, students can also ask to borrow cleaning supplies (mops, vacuums, brooms, irons, steamers, etc), first aid supplies, projectors, books, and board games, and also purchase items such as bedding, carton boxes, tape, and more.

Common Room
On-campus residents will have access to four common rooms (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) located on the first floor of Tower 5.
The Spring Common Room is a multi-purpose space for study or leisure and is equipped with an iMac Lab, printer, communal microwaves, and vending machines.
The Summer Common Room is a multi-purpose space that students can utilize for private or group study as well as leisure activities.
The Autumn Common Room is a multi-purpose space that students can utilize for private or group study as well as leisure activities. The Winter Common Room is a multi-purpose space for study and leisure and includes our Resource Center, printer, and a communal bathroom.

Premium Single
Premium Singles are equipped with a 180*200cm ground bed, a desk, a chair, a closet, and a couch. A laundry washing machine is located on the balcony of each apartment. Additionally, Premium Singles also have access to a private kitchen and bathroom. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge, a cooktop, a water dispenser, and a kettle.

Double Studio
Every Double Studio is equipped with 2 sets of 90*200cm ground bed, a desk, a chair and a closet. A laundry washing machine is located on the balcony of each apartment. Additionally, Double Studios also have access to a private kitchen and a bathroom.

Triple Studio
Triple Studios are equipped with a bunk and a lofted bed set (90*200cm). The rooms also have three sets of desks, chairs, and closets. A laundry washing machine is located on the balcony of each apartment. Additionally, Triple Studios also have access to a private kitchen and a bathroom. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge, a cooktop, a water dispenser, and a kettle.

Apartment Suite
Apartment Suites consist of a living room, a single in suite, a double in suite, a bathroom, and a kitchen.
Apartment Suite living rooms are equipped with two sets of couches. A laundry washing machine is located on the balcony of each apartment. The private kitchen and bathroom for the apartment suites are shared between the residents of single in suites and double in suites.
The Single in Suite is equipped with a ground bed (100*218 cm), a desk, a chair, and a closet. The Double in Suite is equipped with two sets of ground beds (100*200 cm), two desks, two chairs, and two closets. Kitchens are equipped with a fridge, a cooktop, a water dispenser, and a kettle.
