What happens After You Submit Your Request?

After we receive your update requests, we will update your record. We do our best to accommodate all application update requests. However, after the application deadline has passed, we are not able to complete all changes. Additionally, as we get closer to releasing decisions, it becomes less likely that we will be able to make changes to your application. Therefore, you should try to submit your requests as early as possible. For personal information updates, we make changes for all applicants as you share them with us. Later, if you become a student, youʼll be able to maintain your personal information in NYU Albert.

Different updates take different amounts of time to process. For example, some will change within a day of your update request. On the other hand, some may take a week or so to finish depending on the complexity of the request and how many other applicants submit requests at the same time.
