Good morning everyone! ☀️ My name is Emerson and I’m originally from sunny Los Angeles, California 🌴! I’m a senior at @nyutisch majoring in Drama 🎭 (currently through @stonestreetstudios at NYU). I’m so excited for my first ever takeover!
Beyond acting, I love writing and performing with my teammates on @comicsansnyu (one of NYU’s sketch comedy groups), and attending screenings as a member of @dka_nyu (NYU’s cinematic society)!🎬
Lastly, I studied away at NYU in Athens (@nyuathens ) two summers ago which was one of the best experiences of my life! I can’t wait to take you along with me for a full studio day and answer any questions you might have!💜

I was born in the beautiful city of Hangzhou, China 🪷🌅, but was raised in equally elegant town of Cary, North Carolina 🏞️
When I’m not an Admissions Ambassador 🎙️, I’m a member of NYU’s Presidential Honors Scholar Program and Co-Managing Editor at @nyueconreview. Outside of that, You can usually find me catching a flight 🛫, running along the Chelsea Piers 🏃, or stumbling upon a hidden gem somewhere in the city with my camera 📸. Next semester, I’ll be studying away at @nyushanghai! 🐉
